The Korg AW-1 Micro Tuner is a clip-style tuner that can sit directly on the headstock of a guitar. An internal piezo pickup uses the vibration of the instrument to tune, making it ideal for use in noisy environments. The AW-1 Micro Tuner, as the name implies, is extremely compact and lightweight. Despite its small size, the tuner uses very sophisticated technology to make it both accurate and highly functional. Not just for guitars and bass guitars, it can also be used to tune violins, cellos, trumpets, trombones, clarinets, horns, bassoons, saxophones and more. It can be calibrated between reference pitches of 410 - 480 Hz in 1 Hz steps. The LCD meter of the AW-1 also shows pure major/minor third pitches to improve tuning in brass band and orchestral situations. Other features of the Micro Tuner are as follows:
  • Reverse Meter function makes it readable in any orientation
